Since the onset of AIDS, the plague has motivated an endless number of unheralded battles. To stop the spread of AIDS among IV drug users, Jon Parker conducts an illegal guerrilla-tactic needle exchange campaign in the heart of hell.
Gail Farrow
Gail Farrow was the mother of four, a devoted wife and friend, whose life was interrupted and finally cut short because of AIDS. In letters she left for her children, Gail expresses her total and complete love for her children saying, "Since you were born, Iíve been the best mother I could be. I tried to teach you to be good boys. I am asking you now to be the best you can be. I know you will be great people because you were loved from the moment you were born."
Camp Sunburst
At Camp Sunburst, children with AIDS, and children whose lives have been affected by AIDS come to escape the intolerance of the outside world. The camp offers a strong community for people who cannot be completely open about their disease in their hometowns, among their neighbors, or even with their friends.
Rebekka Armstrong
Rebekka Armstrong is a 33-year-old woman living with AIDS. Though known most simply as a Playboy Centerfold, Rebekka is a complicated and compelling individual.
